Sometimes, Natasha escapes into the garden and over the wall if we don't get her to the stud in time! Cats are the only animals that can have kittens in one litter by different fathers.
Last time this produced five gorgeous kittens two furry ginger toms and three furry black ones, one of which is pictured here with his new owner, former Sun 3am girl Eva Simpson, now one of my news editors at The Times. Even when Natasha's kittens are not pedigree, they have the characteristic sweet and funny Ragdoll temperament. Each time we let one go, our hearts break a little more!
